The Permanent School of Higher Education in Metabolomica represents a unique opportunity for medical and care professionals to deepen their knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing direction. The proposed training will allow participants to use metabolomics effectively and appropriately in clinical practice, thus contributing to the improvement of patient care and health.
Metabolomics is an “Omica” science based on advanced technologies with high productivity that identifies and measures metabolites in a given biological, human, animal, plant and environmental matrix. Thanks to the rapid development of knowledge in this area, this discipline is starting to shift from applied research to clinical routine.
The course is structured in 4 modules, scheduled over 12 months. Membership of the School requires the full attendance of all modules, without the possibility of split participation. At the end of the training the participants will have acquired fundamental and specialized skills on metabolomics, will be autonomous in identifying the contexts in which to prescribe this type of investigation and able to adequately interpret the results to guide the treatment path.
Participation in the School recognizes 32 ECM credits
The school is aimed at professionals specialized in training, such as: doctors, biologists, dieticians, pharmaceutical chemists, biomedical laboratory technicians and specializing in schools of clinical biochemistry-molecular biology and clinical pathology.
The multidisciplinary nature of the fields of interest of metabolomics makes this path a training opportunity of great interest for several healthcare professionals.

The aim of the Permanent School of Advanced Training in Metabolomics is to provide the appropriate cultural elements to make the most of this powerful diagnostic tool, with the training of prescribers, clinicians, nutritionists and all professionals in the field.
With the Introductory Lesson of May 6, an indispensable series of introductory elements will be provided to the training path and important concepts will be deepened through the discussion of clinical cases.
